This one's special: a custom build that shows just how far Moon can take the Jazz Bass concept. Five strings, active electronics, maple board, and black hardware for that stealthy boutique look. The transparent pickguard still has its yellow protective film on it, which I can remove before shipping if you'd prefer.
Hand-built in Japan, the JB-5A brings the same obsessive craftsmanship and balance that made the brand legendary, with serious low-end authority. The B string is tight, clear and defined all the way down, without the muddy bloom a lot of five-string J-Basses suffer from.
Under the hood you get Moon's Oxalis JB pickups and their active preamp: articulate, responsive and flexible across genres. There is no passive mode, but honestly, you won't miss it.
